BiOBr@Ti3C2 Material is a heterostructured nanocomposite consisting of bismuth oxybromide (BiOBr),a visible-light-responsive photocatalyst, integrated with Ti3C2 MXene, a two-dimensional transition metal carbide. The coupling forms a 2D/2D interface that enhances charge separation and light absorption.
Applications:
Photocatalysis – degradation of organic pollutants, dyes, or antibiotics under visible light.
Environmental remediation – wastewater treatment and air purification.
Photoelectrochemical (PEC) sensors – for pollutant detection.
